Have you ever felt touched by a sunrise or sunset? I really enjoy them. Scientifically, it’s just sunlight scattering in the atmosphere, creating a stunning display. But there’s something spiritually uplifting about them, isn’t there? They’re beautiful gifts from nature that can heal and calm us in so many ways.

A Sunset is a Time for Reflection

While I was thinking of a name for my new hypnotherapy business, nine years ago, I looked up existing ones for inspiration. Most of the catchy names were already taken. After a few days of searching and reflecting, I watched a sunset—my favorite time of day. At that moment, it struck me that this beautiful, spiritually uplifting experience, that I love, should be part of my business. It truly reflects who I am. After sifting through about 10 different ways to include a sunset or sunrise with hypnotherapy, I decided on ‘Breaking Day Hypnotherapy’

Then, I researched the rhythm of the sun further. I learned the tremendous healing power of the sun on our mental, physical and spiritual health as it  rises and falls each day. Here is what I found:
